Safeguarding Children
At Warnervale Wildcats Cricket Club, the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of children and young people is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and positive environment where every child can enjoy cricket, develop their skills, build confidence and create lasting friendships.
Our club maintains a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse, bullying, harassment, discrimination or inappropriate behaviour. We expect all players, coaches, volunteers, officials, parents and spectators to uphold the values of respect, inclusion and good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
To help ensure a safe environment for all participants, our coaches, managers and volunteers are required to meet relevant child-safe requirements, including Working With Children Check obligations where applicable. We also follow the policies and guidelines of Cricket NSW, Cricket Australia and the Central Coast Cricket Association relating to child safety and member protection.
We encourage all members of our cricket community to speak up if they have concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing. By working together, we can ensure that every child feels safe, respected and supported throughout their cricket journey.
